Jason Lewis is a GIS Specialist who works on the development and implementation of Geographic Information System (GIS) based projects. He has a Degree in Geography and Political Science from Mount Allison University, a Diploma in Environmental Technology from the University College of Cape Breton and a post graduate diploma in GIS Specialist Applications from the College of the North Atlantic.
Jason has extensive experience in GIS web development, creation and management of spatial data, cartographic design, bathymetry, spatial analysis and asset management. Some of Jason’s career highlights include aiding in the development of the GeoKIRV web development project, providing GIS support for natural resource projects and data management. Jason also has participated in a number of field projects including construction and environmental oversight of a fish habitat, stream and water surveys and ice monitoring.
Jason also has accumulated a wide array of skills related to functioning as a Construction Management Representative at Menihek, Bay D’Espoir and other Nalcor facilities.
