Data Entry Clerk - Finance ( Work Term)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to support our Finance team through a work-term placement from September to December 2026. This role is ideal for a post-secondary student interested in gaining practical experience in finance administration, data entry, records management, and day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities  
•    Enter financial data, including invoices, expense reports, and vendor information, into finance systems.
•    Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper coding.
•    Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable data entry.
•    Scan, file, and organize financial records in both electronic and paper formats.
•    Support the Finance team with basic reporting and data requests.
•    Follow confidentiality requirements and internal financial procedures.
Qualifications
•    Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution, preferably in business administration, accounting, finance, office administration, or a related program.
•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy
•    Good organizational skills and the ability to manage routine tasks efficiently.
•    Basic computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications.
•    Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
•    Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a collaborative Finance team.
Eligibility 
This position is intended to be funded through ICTC’s Work Integrated Learning initiatives, funded by the Government of Canada’s Student Work Placement Program (SWPP).

•    Be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons.
•    Be enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution.
