If you are a self-driven learner with an interest in how maps can help to reveal new insights and to tell your stories, then this self-paced, online training module series on Digital Mapping and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is for you!
To be eligible for funding under the program, participants must meet all the following criteria:
Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons who have been granted refugee status in Canada;
Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial and federal legislation and regulations;
Reside in Newfoundland & Labrador.
Our series of modules will cover the basics of Map Literacy and how different types of maps can convey different messages, along with a wide range of GIS topics - using videos, hands-on tutorials, and interactive learning checks, that help you learn to apply knowledge in ArcGIS’ suite of tools.
