Brandi has been working with SEM at the Labrador West location since 2021.
Originally from the south coast of Labrador, she grew up spending majority of her time in the outdoors which stemmed her love for the environment. Brandi graduated in both the Fish and Wildlife Technician program, as well as the Forest Resource Technician program at College of the North Atlantic in Corner Brook. Brandi is involved with all tasks at the Labrador West office but leads in the Compliance monitoring program for IOCC and Tacora mines. She assists in coordinating and conducting field work for the IOCC Groundwater Monitoring project for the Labrador West crew, while also performing surface water sampling, assisting in electrofishing and stream surveys, and continuing operations of the IOCC wastewater treatment plant. In the office, Brandi conducts laboratory tests for both local mines, including recording and submitting data.
Brandi has recently been appointed as Office Manager for the Labrador West office. Outside of work, Brandi loves to fish, adventure on snowmobile or quad, and spend time hiking with her dogs. She is on the board of the new Labrador West SPCA and dedicates a lot of her time towards saving animals in need.
