Colin has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Memorial University and a GIS Applications Specialist post-graduate diploma from the College of the North Atlantic. He has contributed to various projects in the environmental, mining and construction fields focusing mainly on GIS, remote sensing and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. He also works as a Construction Management Representative on various NL Hydro construction and maintenance projects.
Before joining SEM, he gained valuable experience working on the Emera NL Maritime Link Project as a GIS Technician and Coordinator, as well as conducting a GIS-based asset management project for the Town of St. Anthony, NL.
