Jared is a Project Engineer based in the St. John’s office. Hailing originally from Portugal Cove-St. Philip's, Jared earned his Bachelor of Process Engineering from MUN in 2014. During the pandemic, Jared seized the opportunity to further his education, earning a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario in 2023.
Jared boasts a diverse professional background, having undertaken roles in Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Process Safety Management at the North Atlantic Refinery. He has also contributed his expertise to Wood Group PLC as a Technical Safety Engineer for the Hibernia offshore platform. He now brings his experiences, knowledge, and passion for the environment to the SEM Team and all our clients.
In his leisure time, Jared enjoys spending quality time outdoors hiking and camping with his dog and friends. This balance between professional dedication and personal enjoyment underscores Jared's approach to life and work.
